I'd love to go back & forth with you on this, but its like arguing with a 5 yr old, they don't make any sense, they have no basis for their argument & when anyone questions them, they keep changing their story. The fact is a little girl made a video about her daily life with diabetes. You come along, the "self-proclaimed expert" on medical research & the annals of IDDM. Keep prophetizing negativity & see where that gets you - bitter and alone. Please don't reply you are embarrasing yourself.

to the girl who made this video: dont let anyone try to tell you differently about your hopes and dreams. unless someone has diabetes themselves, they do not fully understand the concept of this condition. *best wishes*

This clip brought tears to my eyes - my best friend's 9yr old son was recently diagnosed with Diabetes 1.
The BIGGEST ERROR with this clip is the statement: "There is no cure for Diabetes 1".
This is a LIE, that those who profit enormously off drug $ales & medical visits want you ALL to believe. They sponsor clips like this for the sole purpose of keeping that LIE alive & their bank balances HIGH, whilst yours drops significantly, & they don't give a DARN about all the suffering involved!

i have diabeties and the sadest thing was i got it just a day before my 5th birthday i have type 2 i just wish i could be normal like everyone else the fact that im not allowed anything without asking my mum or dad and even my brother makes me want to find a cure. sometimes me and my mum(who is also diabetic)we hold charitie boxes for diabeties no1 gives the money which is sad.i am 13 now hopefully they will find a cure.

Hi, I was diagnosed Type 1 when I was 13, over 30 years ago. I have longed for a cure since then. I honestly believe there will be a cure, and probably in a few years time. There maybe hope in the short term with linking CGM (Continuous Glucode Monitoring) to Insulin pumps to make a artificial pancreas minimising the effects of diabetes. Islet cell research is looking hopeful, and I believe they will crack it. Dont give up hope. Make sure your daughter controls her glucose in the meantime.

it's sad but ive got D1 and its really not that bad. Its not an every day battle you dont really noyice it much and you just do injection and blood tests. NOT THAT BAD!

i was diagnosed with diabetes when i was 12 almost 2 years ago. It's a terrible disease but I've learnt to live with it. It's definately a struggle, but it's possible to do. I'm on the insulin pump and I think it's the best thing next to a cure. This is a beautiful video! good work!
