"Real Love" is a song written by John Lennon. "Real Love" was subsequently reworked by the three remaining members of The Beatles (Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr) in late 1995. The song was released as a Beatles single in 1996 in the United Kingdom, United States and many other countries; it was the opening track on The Beatles' Anthology 2 album. It is the last "new" credited Beatles song to originate and be included on an album.
"Real Love" was warmly received by some critics, and the single reached #4 and #11 in the UK and US singles charts respectively and earned a gold record faster than a number of the group's other singles. The song was not included on the British Broadcasting Corporation's Radio 1 playlist, promptin
g criticism from fans and members of the Parliament of the United Kingdom.

I know, every time I listen to it there's a huge lump in my throat. This is one of the most moving songs they've made, in my opinion. Indescribably beautiful. Makes me miss seeing the fab four all together again. They are all greatly missed.

Mark Chapman, or David, or whatever the hell his name was can never be sorry enough for what he has robbed us of...you have to believe that John would've gotten back together with Paul eventually. John himself stated he wouldn't rule out getting together again with the boys one day. Even if it had been just John & Paul, that would 've been a fantastic album. Paul always to me seemed the most hurt by the break up...he always gave his best and seemed the most eager to do it all again.

It's an unused Lennon vocal track Yoko gave to the remaining Beatles. It truely is like a Beatles collaboration. Except Lennon gave no consent of course, but it feels like the rest of the Beatles knew just what to put in there to make it Beatlesque.
