Must be an amazing memory mikkala, I've been lucky enough to see Gilmour and Waters live but missed out on Floyd by a couple of years... my parents must've been shy or something :o) Would give anything to have seen this show live, will just have to settle for the dvd.

It is quite a memory although, what now seems a very distant one. It was my first concert ever, my mom drove me and my buddy, and she grabbed 2 tix for herself and a friend! LOL It was comical, if you knew my mom you wouldn't think of Pink Floyd.
My buddy brought a fat gram joint and missed the whole first set because he was too stoned to stand. LOL What a joker. We were just young'uns, I think it was grade 10 I was in.

I have been a devoted floyd fan all my life, study everything about the band and solo careers have all the books dvds new and old magazines etc, unfortunately you got to witness something i never will. all ive got is a big screen and an awsome theater system and thats as close as I'll ever get. we were gonna go but do to events could not. to have seen my idols and insperation would be divine, consider yourself fortunate there will never be performers like this in the future. I envy you

I've seen over 100 concerts in my life, including this one, and bottom line is - nobody can touch Pink Floyd. I was fortunate enough to be in the 9th row for this concert.
I sure hope they tour again, I'll go anywhere to see them in the U.S. and might consider abroad.

De spilte for 40000 per kveld. De spilte 2 kvelder p å rad. De er det eneste bandet i norge som har solgt ut 80000 billetter på 2 timer og 45 min... 40000 er max innslipp på Valle Hovin, selv om den rommer nærmere 60000. Det går på sikkerheten til de foran og ant. utganger.

I think a lot of people would agree with you, but there is no other band in the world that can make music like them. Pink Floyd is a band in a category of their own. I have yet to ever hear a band like them. IMHO, they are one of the greatest European bands ever if they aren't the greatest.

Gilmour is the master of Tone. its like his guitar is right on the edge of feedback but it just hovers there with that classic sound that makes you go WOAH!!
