No, people don't hate crackheads. People hate what drugs do to people. That doesn't mean I want them to be my next door neighbours, though. What if the underage child was your child, Plus, a teacher's salary is paid by the tax-payer, how 'beautiful' is the 'friendship' now? More hypocrisy is when the cocaine/opium product addict performs country-and-western music, or is a 'teacher', the public adores the addict, but change that person to a 'metal rock-and-roller', or a 'politician', and the public begins busting-open the feather-pillows, heating 'tar' in the micro-wave, while texting a cell-phone flash-party.

The bad point of motion-picture exploitation is that the socially acceptable religions use this genre to emotionally manipulate their victims, while the good point is the intelligent person realizes this adult/child relationship is a bad example, therefore will avoid this form of behaviour to be safe from opium/cocaine/designer-drugs that kill the earth, while not providing fibre for clothing, bio-fuel/emollients, and food for human and animal use.
