Set for release in Spring 2008, the 1 Series Coupe will be available in 2 versions -- 128i and the 135i. The former will be powered by a 3.0-liter, 230 horsepower inline 6-cyinder engine that generates 200 lb-ft of torque, the 135i will be powered by BMW's twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine that produces 300 horsepower and an incredible 300 lb-ft of torque from as low as 1,400 rpmm, as an added bonus the M Aerodynamic Kit is standard.

MotorTrend got the 135i to hit 0-62MPH in 4.7's thats almost as fast as the new 2008 Lexus IS-F, haha BMW has done it again. The new 135 at my local dealer is sold out and order list is done. BMW has made an excellent car, that made MotorTrend choose the 135i over the new 2008 Mitsubish EVO MR. Haha thats crazy.

Sounds like a kid, but anyways. Yes, Audi is great. Amazing interior quality, actually its currently unmatched by any other manufacture. Its your opinion that its ugly, but it doesn't seem like that when my local dealer's orders are filled for the 135's, M3, M5, and 550i Sport. Audi's design is amazing interior and out, but its their lack of power and sportiness that makes them just good but not great. Its Quattro System is very basic, Lancer and Subaru's AWD Systems are far better.

Your local dealer have their orders full because there are so many gullible sheep out there. They think they want a BMW and once they have the badge they're happy. Shame most BMW's are made in south africa and are seriously ugly. The TT is sporty, as is the new S5 and R8. The RS4 looks sporty and goes like any supercar. Yes, I own an Audi and after having one for 12 months I won't drive another make. Currently have the new TT with an APR ECU upgrade (would blow the doors off a 1 series).

Well First off, The bottom Comments are bias, First off this is my opinion- For a $ cylinder car that might be, or could be turboed, Its really nice, Its a bimmer and if it looks like a hyundai, its only because alost everyone wants to copy BMW, take a look at the new Accord. But over all I cant wait till they are released in the US.

I luv the taxation in MALAYSIA!!!!! this car is about US$35,000.. add on the tax imposed in Malaysia (REALITY CHECK EVERYONE) price of car + 10% tax + 125% (3.0l engine) + 10% = about US$85,750.... that's the price we get in malaysia.... even a ferrari F430 is is 1/2 a million US$ in Malaysia... check it out everyone WE IN MALAYSIA ARE SCREWED, SCREWED, SCREWED... i drive a 2.5l diesel toyota pick-up with almost the same price of a 135i in the US.

I have been in BMWs since I was born 42 years ago. Currently I own a 1990 325ic and she is perfect! So understand when I say that the 1 series appears to be the resurrection of the chassis used during the late 80s to early 90s. The use of technical evolution and modern lines is icing on the cake. I have other BMWs in my arsenal but the petiteness of my 325ic gives a true oneness between the driver, machine and the road. I have modified my 3 to an output of 500hp so no 1 series for me. Kudos BMW!
