His "saving" audition was with Heidi (where the judges decided whether or not to keep him). He sometimes said at a couple of the tour stops when he was introducing Heidi that Heidi saved his butt. I think there's a video of it somewhere.

Man Benji IS VERSATILE. He's fucking awesome! He and Lacey are the most versatile people to ever be on the show. I can't believe he and Travis almost didn't make the show. He had to go to freaking choreography just because of something as small as pulling faces/singing along? And Travis didn't get a ticket in his first audition but then went to Charleston and auditioned again and made it.
