This is the first in a mini series of CG movies from Blizzard Entertainment's Warcraft Series that describe a bit more of the history behind World of Warcraft.
This movie came with the WC2 CD as a preview trailer. This story is about 4 years before WoW. Story: The Second War, by human reckoning, was over. However the strife between orc and man continued. Only a new, otherworldly demonic threat may bring the warring races of Azeroth together, perhaps. Th
e Burning Legion makes their appearance in Azeroth and bring with them a plague that will turn all into undead slaves; thus The Scourge is born.

LoL no the arm isen't cut off =P Try lay your arm like that in the water and look what happends. Your underarm will still be up above the surface if your elbow touches the bottom. It's just very well done clip from blizzard knowing how the body behaves in the water.

Warcraft was never meant to have a story that would be too serious: the entire series, including WoW, never took itself too seriously, except in terms of the technical quality and service provided to the fans. Thus, any attempt at "unmasking" the story as "campy" is only a poorly grasped truism. Enjoy the story, if you like campy, over-the-top, syncretic fantasy, or if you don't, just enjoy the game. If you enjoy neither, begone. Kkthnxbai.

To be honest.. the LORE is the reason that makes me play World of warcraft. ^^ I play warcraft for like 4 years and i never get bored of doing campaings.

There's one thing to remember:
If it's written by Richard A. Knaak, it's an automatic fail.
That's why The Burning Crusade is made of fail. I'm right and you know it. I just hope they will fire him, and ask ANYONE ELSE to write the WotLK story. Hopefully then, WoW will actually be slightly like Warcraft. Otherwhise, TBC killed Warcraft and WotLK is going to rape the corpse.
