Just because that is what inspired this song, doesn't mean I can't draw my own interpretation from it. Just imagine that you didn't know that this was inspired by a stalker. Absolutely fine! Use it for whatever you want. No one will keep you from doing anything with the song. I had the same experience with another song that meant a lot to me. One day someone tells me "that song is about her mom, not her boyfriend!" I was disappointed, lol! But I still love the song and my own meaning.

The funny thing is that I didn't know what "Head Over Feet" was about BUT when I heard it, I could see my parents singing it to me (I don't know why, it was strange). I didn't see it as a typical "love song" so now that you told me it's about her mom, it all makes sense. Thanks.
