This has nothing to do with the gold standard. Money doesn't need to be connected to a metal. It's a social system that can be engineered in a particular way if people are allowed to do so. Right now it's being used in as a means of domination, not social reward.

When money isn't backed by anything we can make our own reality so we invented the 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath, 2 cars, 5 TVs, college for all kids, health spas, vacations, recreation vehicles etc and etc. Its the American Dream and its definitely a fairy tale.

Problem is once the American middle class realizes this there will be revolution, and global war. National Socailits elites in India, China, middle east,like Hamas-Taliban want to subjegate the American Middle class. Why? Because unlike China or India, the government of America is still controlld by the middle classes(the people), and the small elites of other markets consider this a threat to their dominance of their own local markets and enslaved populaces. Not sure if there was ever a time where the US was controlled by the middle class - it's surely not true anymore. Just check if poll results have anything to do with government policy in the US.
The US is controlled by billionaires and big business. And yeah - I sure hope ther will be a revolution, because it cant go on like this much longer.

Shes pointing out some basic stats and yet she cant get to the bottom of the issue or provide any remedy.. she also failed to see where this drop in price for certain spending comes from, it comes from progression new methods and technology to produce thing faster and at cheaper rate.. not kids walking around bare foot. Anyway the main cause is the central banks printing credit, charging interest, I feel like a broken record saying this but non the less it is the only issue behind all she says

The question I ask is what does it all mean going forward, if there is little room to move, what is the forecast? I do not see the governments (Fed, State, County, CIty) helping as they have their own buget problems. The clip starts slow, but picks up with some interesting statistics that show the changes between the time of my parents to now. I really feel for the poor.
