Definately more together than a certain other time he tried to perform this number. If you've heard it, you'd know what I mean. If not, you should listen to more live stuff.

Iggy's awesome, but when Frank Sinatra sang this it's like he wasn't even trying. Sinatra's voice carries, sails through the song. The way Sinatra phrases words, he doesn't even have to change the pitch of his voice yet the way he makes you feel just kills. Check, Sinatra at the Sands for 'One for my baby.'
I love Iggy, man, I'm a huge Stooges fan, and Iggy sings this song nice, but Sinatra at the Sands is killer. With Sinatra it's like he's the only one who gets me.

This is brilliant. I adore this song, all versions (of course I have favorites) but, this is a great one. The violin coupled with Pop's deep singing meshes well.
