PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE COMMENTING:
Many people suggested we should have saved the deer, or at least should have killed it. To those people I'd like to say:
1) it was not possible; the only weapons we carried were some sticks, and the deer was beyond saving anyway.
2) it was not allowed; the islands of Komodo and Rinca are a national park. Tourists are allowed to watch, not to touch anything.
3) it wouldn't help; suppose we would have scared off the komodo dragon, then it would have stayed hungry so it would have killed another deer. Besides, this happens dozens of times everyday on Komodo and Rinca. This is nature.
And to the people who say I shouldn't have taped this: nobody has to watch this. The title makes it very clear what you're going to see, so it's your own choice. Don't complain when you get what you order.
