i think they just ran out of ideas :P they used all the fairytale storys, and pocahontas was pretty much their only historical one, brother bear was a tragedy so i think they've just ran out of ideas really.

You are so right! I love the hunchback. its so underrated. I especially love the score with the drums where esmerelda is abuot to be burned. Its so beautiful. I think the disney movie with the best overall score is beauty and the beast.

I try to buy every cd that has Alan Menken on it.He is a good.On other soundtracks he sings one or two songs and he is a ok singer not the best though.

it's so beautiful. i first saw this when i was 5. i've been in love with everything american indian ever since. this movie was all, absolute harmony and peace, and other emotions i had never felt at that young age. this film and soundtrack are magical. it is my favourite movie ever. beautiful.

Alan Menken is a musical genius. He is amazing! His music is so beautiful, and definitely Oscar-worthy. Pocahontas is one of my favorite movies music-wise. It is fourth only to Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, and Hunchback of Notre Dame.
