5 of the 16 players here are former U.S. Open Champs. This event is not as challenging as the Open, but the match play is great and the production is top notch.

Still, two snooker players in a high calibre pool tournament. You don't get pool players entering any main tour snooker tournaments. Great that Davis can still be in this, he was 48/49 at the time!

Yeah, but the fact that they didn't get thumped in this tournament shows they could be competitive. They deserved their place. O'Sullivan moreso than Davis, Davis' manager Barry Hearn organised the tournament. But Davis got to the last 16 of the World Pool Championship a few years ago, not bad for a nearly 50 year old who doesn't play much pool.
