Recorded this about August 1993. Pretty sure it's the first time they played it on tv. Unusual mix, vocal heavy, guitar light.

Obviously playback. The drums without mics should have given it away primarily. Nonetheless good band.

they sound like they are not really playing coz all the instruments are equalized perfectly and the voice is really high it sounds like a karaoke track. is cool, better than plain lipsinking.

It's not playback, you can hear the cymbals peak and they don't do that on the record. It's just an awful mix. Look for the mics on the drums. They're there.

Bought this CD in 94, listened to it in full length over and over and fucking loved it. Creep wasn't the only good song, just the most popular for the most popular lovers.I can't stand those people who buy a CD and don't listen to the whole thing. That is so disrespectful to the artist. Just my thoughts. We now return you to your regular programming.

i bought pablo honey in '94 too when i was 15 and loved it. every song. it was Anyone Can Play Guitar that grabbed my attention (their 1st single). i liked it and some long haired engineer dude came round to fix my parent's skybox one day and we sat and watched 'mtv alternative' for a while and both agreed radiohead were the next big thing. i love pablo honey.can completely understand that they changed into something more meaningful afterwards but that won't take away from me the album i love

this could be the making of the music video perhaps, the vocals and drums are real cuz they almost need to be to make a video, and in music videos they just put in the album track basically all of the time, the clothing is a bit different from the music video so this is probably just another take

Lol... No pal, The Drill Ep was their first single. Followed by Creep, and then Anyone can play guitar. Creep was re-released a year after it was first issued, minus the naughty swearwords...

It was released in May 92 and has versions of "Prove Yourself", "You" and Thinking About You" on it; which were later re-recorded for PH. It also has a slow number called "Stupid Car". Compared to what came after the Drill EP sound more like a demo, but it does have alot of Energy.
