The way Orson and Toland used shadowing in this scene was ground breaking. This scene is shot in a very strange way because of the low angle shots. When Welles is jumping up and down with the course girls his head is almost touching the ceiling so that they could get that low angle shot hightened. Flawless film making and originality.
