This is true in the theocracies but not in all places. Agree that Islam is probably the most virulent. But if properly resisted by govt (and by that I don't mean governments attacking their own muslim citizens), it's amazing how the fundies lose their grip on things in the democracies. What I think is really telling is why the government and media are so concerned with bringing down Islam. Why do they continue to create issues against this religion?
