They're called cutaways. They're used to mask jump cuts as well as put the event in context. They've been a well established flmmaking convention for over a century and you are the only person I've ever heard complain about them.
When you're funding my filmmaking I'll listen to your attempts at direction, but as you aren't, I'll politely decline, thanks.

Sorry, mate, but cutaways are used in film at every level. They are part of the language of film. I was one of several people filming that session and no one complained, least of all Jurgen. This is a very silly argument.
