The US counter-narcotics agencies estimate that 90 per cent of the cocaine coming into the United States from South America was transited through Mexico. Drug-related violence has left more than 4,000 Mexicans dead in the last two years. Is the US government really concerned about the deaths of Mexican citizens as a consequence of the so-called war on drugs?

My dad is the vice president of a large heating and cooling company, hes worth well over a million dollars. Hes been smoking cannabis for 36 years with no ill effect. He uses no other drug, doesnt drink, would never hurt a fly. Golfs on the weekends... Is he morally unjust?

Facists, however , are the ones running the banks that profit so much from the illegal hard drugs like cocaine and heroin. cannabis is illegal because theres noway to profit as it can be grown almost anywhere for banks! coke and heroin are illegal because they must be smuggled and money must be laundered. No.Its coz the priorities of society would change and we would want less stuff apart from our fix=> industry/commerce suffers.they could tax Coke & heroine but the loss in other tax revenues wd make it self defeating. Ganja can be grown at home so no gain there. the hemp industry wd blossom affecting petro chemical industries. If you check the drug policy in Holland most drugs is legal for private use only. Weed for example you can buy at the coffee shop and get taxed. We have one of the lowest crime rate & prison rate in the world.

I don't use it, and I do not see anything keeping the laws that are in place in existence. You should really take the time to 1. Try the "Drug" in a safe controlled environment 2. Get a good look at the "information" from both sides of the debate 3. Go to your local Med school / Practitioner and talk to a doctor about the effects you had and what as a doctor thinks about the "Drug" Do at least one of those things my friend and then carry out your days with that formation of opinions.
