This is one of the clearest, sanest explanations of religious experience I have ever seen. As with anything though, its also easy to turn a great explanation into a stupid belief in which case it is useless. Sobriety is so important in spiritual matters these days.

Yes, because that is what Jesus Christ said. In order for you to be fully cleansed, begin to realize the metaphorical context these writings were portrayed in. The serpent was a metaphor of temptation. Temptation comes from the ego within, your own personal ego trying to take more then it needs.

So Adam being the first and most powerful soul and equal to god soul for some time.. then must be the lowest soul of all because of potentiality. "Satan is gods best student.." Not even in Islam is Satan as a concept elevated to the status of a contrary god. This is a concept unique to Christianity. And from a legal point of view, to be manipulated or entrapped by the machinations of such a being argues for mitigating factors in decision of guilt. These are profound words of Wisdom! I feel every word and every sentence that comes from Rav Michael Latitman's mouth deeply and I am so moved by everything he says and tries to explain.The Translator is very good in his translation! He transmits the feelings and sensations of Rav's Words of Kabbalah Wisdom.

im a kabbalust from houston texas. my question to you is the population of Earth has increased over centuries. How do we account for these new bodies that need to be filled with souls? Does the "One" soul continue to be devided? I it has to continue to devide why are we adding more pieces to the puzzle which we are already having a hard time putting together?
