actually if you fumble every time you get sacked and give up touchdowns on 20% of your interceptions get returned for touchdowns, it usually means you're a fucking awful football player, which bledsode is.

Worst thing for Bledsoe was Zampese and Carroll. There were times when he carried the offense on his shoulders. The line was pourus and Carroll wouldn't support a smashmouth line and instead relied on finesse..... Something the Pats weren't built for.
Add in a sad front office... aka... GREER, an d Bledsoe was the wrong QB for that offence.
He did well in Buff the first year, then the team got dismantled.
He wasn't perfect, but given the chance he'd beat you.

Bledsoe has to be the most overrated QB I can think of in recent history. Yes, he put up yards but look at how many times he threw the freakin' ball, 2,500 more attempts than Troy Aikman in his career. He also fumbled the ball over 120 times in his career which means he was good for close to a fumble per game.

OVERRATED? no one ever gave him credit for anything! if anything he was way UNDERRATED! there are pocket quarterbacks and there are scrabling quarterbacks. drew never had a defensive line worth crap anywhere he played! that's why he fumbled so much!

Yes, overrated and don't try to blame the fumbles on his O-line. If his O-line were that bad, he wouldn't have thrown for the yards that he did, would he? He showed he was not a pressure QB and didn't take care of the ball when he got any pressure. I don't recall the year but I do recall Bledsoe going the first eight or nine games without a TD pass. Anyone who saw him play saw how much he held the ball which is what caused all the sacks and fumbles. That even continued in Dallas.

He was a fine QB just at the wrong place wrong time his entire career....parcells leaving after the super bowl...gregg williams fired after bledsoe came in #2 on MVP voting in 2002 and then the release of larry allen in 2005 after he had a solid first season in dallas...anyone who says hes overrated doesnt know much about football. Dont feel bad for him tho Patriots had to buy out his contract so he got paid and now runs a whinery in washington
