Which of the World Wars was worse depends on the viewpoint. For a soldier, World War I was definitely worse; wave after wave of men being sent futilely into killing fields by generals sitting at their full supper tables. For a civilian, World War II, definitely. The Great War war pretty easy on the civs.

urmmmmm. i think you mean all the soldiers who gave their lives. Besides (please correct me if im wrong) wasnt it the Germans who were trying to capture other countries freedom. So technically its the other way around. Nevertheless men those days were twice the men they are today. Not all of course, there are still a rare majority of men who would be up for and survive what those men did. i admire them all!
