Sure things are better now than in the 50's--but on the other hand imagine a time when something as infinitely cool as this could happen. This is an absolutely amazing session. And when none other than Jackie Gleason steps on at the end (one cool cat in his own right!) for kudos and handshakes all around, well--baby--that just about blew my mind! I'm not sure, but that *might* also be Tal Farlow comping on guitar behind Diz and Louis.

This is excellent! And sure, you can say that today's generation doesn't know music, doesn't appreciate music... but now at least they have the chance to see something like this.
