Highlights of the season-opening 2003 USC-Auburn game, when the #8 Trojans traveled to Alabama to take on the #6 Tigers. USC proceeds to shut out Auburn 23-0 behind first-year starter Matt Leinart, who's very first collegiate pass goes for a touchdown to Mike Williams. USC would go on to win a share of the 2003 National Championship.

I respect Auburn but you squeaked by Vtech by 3 while USC raped Oklahoma 55-19! at the end of the season. If y'all were trying to make a statement it was an epic FAIL! That same Auburn team went on to lose 5 games and not make it to the sec championship. Just to let all you usc fans know. Also to add in the reason usc is willing to play all of those out of conference games is because there conference sucks. They have to get national attention some how. Just like that showdown with Ohio State who is not that good and will lose around 4 to 5 games this year.
