eh sorry your wrong man pink floyd toured after roger left rpobably their biggest tour and david said he didnt wanna get back with the floyd cause cause his solo album done well so its cause of david their not on tour. and he threw rick out cause he wasn't contributing musically anymore

R Waters is one of the founding members of The Pink Floyd and Yes he is the original singer of this song on "Wish You Were Here" His voice is F***ed because of the screaming and vocal pryotechnics he used to perform during live concerts including the Wall. The back-up singers are the girls he uses on his live tour. During his live shows(i've seen him live 4 times solo and once as a member of the pink floyd) he is aware of the fact that his voice is shot and most songs are sung by other artist.

And for the record, Eric Clapton is a far better guitarist than Gimour. Now, Gilmour is amazing, one of the greats to be sure, but not in Clapton's league.
