On July 22, 2007 I had the opportunity to see Mickey Rooney in "Let's Put On A Show" with Jan Rooney. I believe he is off to the British Isles for a while. I never saw such professionalism and knew that people like Judy and Mickey were a special breed from a special era. The discipline in his perfomance was something that only his generation could be trained for. It was a true privilege to see him.

the studios didn't really know the effects of so many uppers and downers at the time. Judy was taking up to 30 pills a DAY!! It was crazy how her body didn't just shut down years before.
