The music & the movie were absolutely perfect for each other. In my opinion, quite possibly one of the best movies ever. I understand Altman & Beatty both hated the movie; hmmmmmm?!

The song might not fit the actual circumstances of Unforgiven but I don't think it matters, this video is lovely, like a visual poem. It reminded me of how much I love that middle scene and how Muny is as sweet as circumstances will allow - "I reckon if I did want a free one, it'd be with you." Brilliant work.

Thanks for the video; it motivated me to do something I've been meaning to do for years, buy a copy of McCabe & Mrs. Miller. Now if I could only find someplace to just lie down in the snow and watch it.
