So far I know, he only uses three Matons, his most beloved being the "Mouse", the one he plays "Initiation" with. He almost gone mad after he got it "lost" few years ago in Amsterdam, and payed a lot of money to its finder "without asking dumb questions" of course. I guess, less is more for someone like him.

This man is amazing!! He was on Bob and Tom the other day (Tuesday5/20) and blew my mind. In case you live outside the USA and have never heard of them, it's a syndicated morning radio show. Watching some of the videos on YouTube just makes me even more of a new fan of this very gifted gentleman. I will pay money to enjoy this talented musician's stuff.

I saw him about year ago. I was in the second row from the front. the show must have lasted at least two hours. He'd already blown my mind so much by the end of the first hour, I thought the show must be over. But he came back and made what he'd done the first hour seem simple by comparison. There are really no words to describe it.

i heard about him on bob and tom also they talked about him for days after,i went home that day and youtube TE and went to his own website,then i was blown away again,i play guitar myself and im telling anyone out there ,i cant put into words the tallent ,creativeness,well there arent enough words,"the best".ive never seen a musician so happy to play,swell guy,Now i cant wait to see him in nashville the end of june.

In spite of his most amazing talent,Tommy remains a very humble man. I love his work so much. Would you believe his brother Phil, is almost as good but seems to prefer electric over acoustic. Check him out.
