Created Feb 2 for the February 3, 2008 money bomb for Ron Paul. Dr. Paul is running for President of the United States as a Republican. He has been elected to congress 10 times as a Republican and believes in freedom and the rule of law. This is my first attempt at a mashup video, intended to be
somewhat like a commercial or promo video for Ron Paul. I think it's also very informative. Please rate and share.

Colbert's message is clearly that Ron Paul is speaking truth. He draws a comparison with widely help "truths" of the past that we now see were false. We ask ourselves, "What the hell were those idiots thinking?" Just like the idiots of old, present Rep. leadership and most candidates reject the truth for the herd mentality of sticking with the errors even as we all plunge off the cliff.

I happen to be Elliot's house mate. The thing is, Ron Paul maybe the ideal candidate, but he is not the most popular one: which is why he may not get the republican nomination in the first place. However, Ron Paul is a nice guy. About that laptop, for its price its a neat machine.

This is not defamation. Its sad that someone smart enough to support Dr. Paul doesn't understand satire. Please look into other Colbert videos if that is what you are referring to as defamation. If it's something else in the video perhaps you could explain?

Wow people, wake up. We don't live in the 1800s anymore where we can just look across the Atlantic and Pacific and watch the world fall into communism and tyranny and think it has no effect on us.
