thats what ive been tryin to tell all this while..lol..it seems that only those who understand jazz could really understand Chaka's interpretation here..and your definitely one of em..Chaka's laying some serious jazz/blues interpretation here with spot on notes! how i wish more people could understand and appreciate real oldskool blues sanging like tiz..she improvised on the whole song,literally and made it work!gotta be a music genius to accomplish that! fantasia just sung the standard melody..

Chaka is a music chameleon..her voice is multi facited and she can sang in any mode she chooses too..this style is just one out of her many vocal groupies..them haters need to check out Chaka's other interpretation of this song and comment on it instead of bashing this performance alone..they gotta know the real Chaka and her true capabilities..this is just one out of her many distinctive rendition of summertime!
