were I live most of ppl listen topop, hiphop, house tecno popular,etc, then there are some ppl that listen to metal and rock. almost only ppl close to musicians or themselves hear jazz(and other stuff) and know about some of the greatest performers. I found recently a piano player called Errol Garner with crazy rhythmz ;)

First came classical music, then rythmical music. Of all rythmic music, jazz came first. HipHop, what you call rap, is way later. Jazz was played at parties, and as an art, even before 1900, I'm very sure they played jazz in the late 1890's. But then it became big. It's a thing for black people, and you shouldn't be so whiney about black or white. Many of my biggest idols ever is black, and many is white. What's the fucking difference? Answer: No! So chill dude, enjoy the music. :)

Sick of hearing people accusing everybody for stealing and shit. When you get to a certain level of musicality, you borrow. Music is universal. It's notes, you don't own them. I don't know who the hell got first or who didn't, but everybody have made a good job, made good music, given something to people who enjoy it, and thats it. Even if Hancock borrowed this, so what? It's amazing, and done with amazingly talent and respect, so it doesn øt matter. Just chill people :).
