Yes and it's also over twice the thickness. The touch pro/Vario 4 is not as sexy as the Diamond, and if the keyboard is as bad as on the Vario 3 then I won't be interested!.

The iPhone Ui is cool as hell no question about it, but what's under it is less cool. The only thing iPhone kick any phones ass atm is the Media aspect. Rest is not as impressive.

Diamond have a beautiful design imo. Iphone looks like a toy.
Diamond have better camera, still they both lack flashlight.
Diamond is cheap ( atleast where I live, iPhone is totally remotely to expensive here. Almost rediculous.
They both have pro's and cons.
At the end it is totally up to what you are after and for what you gonna use it.
So I would say both are good phones.
It's a matter of personal liking.

I just bought an iPhone. Reason? I need a decent calendar. That's why I had my SE P910i (which was utterly slow)
Now I've tried both the iPhone and Diamond touch, and yes the iPhone has it's flaws (not being able to send stuff over BT is one of the major flaws in my eyes) - but the diamond touch just feels sluggish, reminded me of my SE P910i. The iPhone just react a lot faster to user input, and it rarely f eels slow. Anyway, good to see some competition, that's good for the customers :)

Apple came out as the first to have it on a phone, and therefore people automatically assume that iphone is the best and the only one. Diamond is not in any means a mimic of the iPhone.

Respons time is almost the same.
On the reviews where the ui is sluggish are often due to so many background programs running. Iphone can't run background programs, which explains alot.

Yeah, it "can" get slow when you don't turn of all the programs you have running in the background. You see, as a default, if you press the X in the right upper corner you only minimize the programs. And on most reviews this has not been changed. So when they start the review or demo, they already have alot of programs running. This ofc have some effect on the graphic smoothness. I the Diamond and it flows just as good as the iphone 90% of the time. And the new official ROM's are better aswell.
