NO It's a sketch written by John Cleese, Marty Feldman, Graham Chapman and Tim Brooke Taylor. I know that on this specific performance it was performed by Monty Python but whether you consider a "cover" of a sketch THEIR sketch is a different matter.

Monty Python is the name of the group, not a person's name. Same with Steely Dan, Pablo Cruise, etc. In this sketch they are (left to right) Michael Palin, Eric Idle, Graham Chapman, Terry Jones. John Cleese was a huge part of Python, but he left a year or two before the show ended and went on to do Fawlty Towers, one of the best tv shows ever. Yeah fresh fruit is one of my faves.
