Not stoned, actually Page's solo is quite good here. When he plays the arpeggios near the end, you can see even Clapton smiling in recognition of the virtosity. Page was undoubtedly the best guitarist that ever lived with exception possibly of Clapton or Rhodes. Forget Hendrix, he was overrated and frankly just made a lot of noise.
