As an open minded, experienced musician I am trying very hard to like this song after a friend recommended. I give up dear friend. Some of the guitar playing is okay but the melody is truly awful & oversimplistic. ISB fans, tell me why this song works for you. Does it remind you of something or is it the song itself you find so attractive?

im too young to be reminded of anything about this era. the melody isnt awful. it is, by all means, a professionally written and performed song. beyond that, its a matter of taste. take refuge in your death metal or whatever

Risque?? Where's your head at?? It's a simple love song with beautiful allusions to beautiful things. If I could have written just one song in my life I would have painted the colors of this.

Yeh??? What are you talking about? You refer to the song as far too risque (and something about the Presbyterian Church) - are you taking medication? Do you know what risque means? Jesus. . . !

It's a shame the audio and video are out of synch. For a moment I thought they were just lip-synching badly. A lovely song, well played.

So much bliss that even death seems enjoyable. What a song. Mike was always writing tuneful songs to Robin's cosmic numbers. The studio version has Robin bounding the bridge of his acoustic creating sitar sounds. He didn't have time to do it here as this song was performed later in the broadcast of the Felix show. Too bad we don't get to see how he does it. You'd often find Mike playing an actual sitar on Robin's songs. One would arrange and play lead on the others songs quite often.

When was this aired? How long ago? I wasn't familiar with the group and only found this because they were mentioned in one of Peter Robinson's book playlists. Nice though.
