this made me cry..but not out of sadness but out of happiness. these children are adorable! it pains me to see that people even adults will laugh and crack jokes, when these children are already insecure about themselves and look up to those adults. i know. i've lived it..because of my disability. and i'm still living in it..it will never stop..but i gotta move on.

I have autism. The title "heavens special children" really irritates me. The term "special" really offends me. People use terms like "special" and "handycapeable"(another term that irritates the hell out of me) when they don't want to be offensive. Well those terms offend me more than deliberately offensive terms like retard and cripple. People should ask US what terms we prefer rather than using terms that non disabled people tell them are the correct terms for "those kinds of people".
