Praying in a school isn't banned. Gun Violence declined from 12% of violent crime in 1993 to 9% in 2001. Apparently the assault weapons ban worked. The ten commandments aren't displayed on government property for the simple reason that then the government would then have to display the religious tenements of every religion that asked for it. Wouldn't you flip out if they displayed the four pillars of Islam in schools? And so on and so forth. However, hilarious picture of Al Gore.

How did the assault ban work to reduce crime when the same firearms that were banned were still manufactured and sold freely, albeit without certain features but the exact same guns duuring this same time period? And why hasn't gun crime in Australia declined since they melted down all their guns? Could it be the crooks never comply with law?

A smart guy might run the numbers to see if we didn't just lock up more criminals during the same time period. I refuse to believe violent gun crime went down when there can be no doubt that the number of guns of all types surely went up. This would mean that more guns = less crime and of this I am certain!!!

Oooo.... kkkk... that was an almost incomprehensible hodge podge. Ask your law enforcement agencies if they are in agreement with restrictions on assault rifles. See how quickly they respond. Founding Fathers? They knew that government and its institutions should not endorse any religion. American children are more at risk from firearms than the children of any other industrialised nation. In one year, firearms killed no children in Japan, 19 in Great Britain, 57 in Germany, 109 in France, 153 in Canada, and 5,285 in the United States.
