Okay, everyone shut the fuck up about the separatists. It's only 2 or 3 old mad bastards who complain and then, the medias take this shit as a scandal to fill up their newspapers frontpages.
The bastards said that "the 400th anniversary was a good event to remember the Quebec history... that is not a music festival". So, YES IT IS STUPID, but I don't know ONE quebecers who's agreed with this citation.

écourageant c'est le twit qui écrit la chrnonique "franc parler" dans le journal de montréal (dans les premières pages). Dans son article du samedi et du lundi (le 19 et 21 juillet), il dit que la présence de Sir Paul n'a aucun sens. Il dit que "nous chialons pcq les jeunes ne connaissent rien
de notre histoire" et que c'est le moment de leur en faire part. TK, c'est un méchant frustré mal baisé. Les jeunes ont assez de leur cours à l'école: qu'ils profitent donc du 400e à la place.

mikeacm, I suggest you go back to school and learn how to write. Most of the "separatists" I know write their English in a better manner than you do. Please quit your demagoguery and educate yourself. Childish and puerile comments like that only fuel those who believe that separation and auto-determination is the only way they will earn respect. I have no problem with your serperation thing okay i learnt about it this year and trust me at some points in our history you french have a right to feel this way the only problem i have with this thing is that when paul decided to come here, the french politics and artists couldnt stop complaining about why is he coming, boo hoo. Next time well have a un popular french artist play, lets see how many people will go, i know for sure there wont be 200,000. Next time dont judge me.

In fact, the 5 or 6 artists/politicians who didn't want Paul in Quebec City lost their reputation and their opinion doesn't represent the opinion of the majority. Most of them are from Montreal and they are just jaleous because Paul didn't want to return there.

Paul does 4 or 5 shows a year and it is always for a special occasion. in Quebec city, it was for the 400th. This year, he also played at Liverpool (because this is where he lives) and Kiev (for the independance of Ukraine).He didn't want to go to MTL because there is nothing special there this year, and if there is something special in Toronto, maybe he will return there (I hope for you that he will)
