When you talked about dominating the conversation, i was amazed, because that is exactly what i do, and why. i just had never put words to it before. i had not even realized i was doing that.

Thanks for posting. Just a comment: I have Asperger's, and I DO feel emotions intensely, and I have always known that other people have emotions. I just don't feel things the way most other people do.

Are there varying levels of this syndrome? Because I'm not that extreme like the people in this video but I believe I have a mild form of it. Why I might have it: I'm often in my own world, I'm shy, I've got awkward posture, I talk funny as I'm careless with how I talk, I lose touch with friends :(, and I've got weird obsessions like being obsessed with the Vietnam War at the age of 14 (circa 1990) and I still am a little. One thing I don't do is dominate in conversations.

I do suspect myself of having this disorder. The characteristics of someone with the symptoms fits me to a T. It's defiantly a trade off on how one lives with this disorder. On the positive end, I have strong talents and sharp focus on the interests where my talents lay in, which has helped me maintain a carrier. But on the negative end, I have to endure Involuntary Celibacy, which sucks big time!
