Do I "Favor proposals for reform?" Certainly, if it helps the country. Am I "Open to new ideas?" Sure, if it helps the country.
Yet I look at the sister commercial for "conservatives." Am I "Resistant to change?" Yep, when the change doesn't help the country.
So, based on the Democrats' definitions, every sane person in the nation is neither a liberal nor conservative; we always vote for what we think is right.

"Liberal" and "conservative" have been defined, and redefined, so many times, that, I don't think anybody knows what they're talking about anymore, when they lob grenades at "the other side."
