Judy is my idol. My #1 idol. I have loved her since I was three years old, watching Dorothy on the Wizard of Oz. She was so amazing. I wish my generation had a person like her. Like a teen idol who can actually sing like her.

without Deanna Durbin, Judy Garland would have never become a Star. She knew this and resented it. Deanna Dubin was the first pop teen Star and saved Universal Studies from bankruptcy.All the Studios were looking for another DEANNA.. Judy was at MGM and they didn`t know what to do with her till DEANNA showed them the teen market. Deanna retired in 1948 and is living a "Normal" life in France even now, Where is JUDY?

That has become a part of the Hollywood legend. Ms.Temple was one of the choices for"Dorothy Gale" for "Oz"..but she was not the first choice. and She couldn't play the part..Judy is"Dorothy!".

It was Movie director George Cukor..who would work with Judy on"A Star Is Born"at WB in 1954. He told Judy to take off the blonde wig and make up and "Remember that you're a little girl from Kansas" and his advice worked for her.
