I always loved that mechanical trance like sound moroder had back then..funny now the track gets played as an "electro" classic in the ungerground dance-clubs...... the track used in the film wasn't as polished as this commercially released version, but that had something to do with the films hea

The movie it's called "Midnight Express" because the only way to escape the prison where the main character is caught is taking a train named that way. See the movie, it's a good one ;)

The version you hear at 0.59 is the original "chase" score used in the film.....the more familiar version was substituted when the films soundtrack album and subsequent cd were released. I have both versions ....the better one is the one moroder used on soundtrack album
