Nahomi Matsushima has interviewed Johnny Depp 5 times, and still gets all geeked out every time... and she's quite a bit older than Mari Yaguchi too! Also, Johnny Depp is a phenominon over in Japan like The Beatles were, so it's a big deal to interview him! I've seen Mari-chan in videos where she's with other girls and she's a complete tomboy, so it's nice to see her so feminine here for a change.

He actually loves going to Japan, and wishes he could spend more time there, (he's said so in press conferences) since 2005 he's been there 4 times. Plus the interviews he's done in Japan are quite unique with Nahomi Matsushima dressing up as his characters, and kids performing for him and playing games.

I've been thinking about this... either his portion of the video was out of synch to Mari's questions, and they were showing his reaction to the translator... or he was just being polite, giving the camera something to work with for the sake of the interview. I'm betting on the first idea though.
