Has anybody ever stood still to contemplate that Sarah was "discovered" by Andrew Lloyd Webber, Bocelli was "discovered" by Zucchero and Potts was "discovered" by a TV talent Show ?
So, what do they all have in common? Well, easy, no one of the above was "discovered" by anybody who has anything to do with Opera!

I am anything but a music snob. First and foremost, I like all kind of music, but I can differentiate and write without profanities, can you?
I have nothing against Paul Potts, Sarah or Bocelly, they sing quite OK and they bring classical music to a wider mass. What I can't stand are people, who have not got a clue about the real work that goes into becoming a top opera singer, suddenly give judgement and say that any of the above is better then the real stars that have worked hard for it.
