It helps if your friends are actors/singers who love theater as much as you do. XD
Bursting into song is actually pretty normal for my friends. Once, we were all in the drama classroom at lunch listening to Footloose, and we all joined in with the CD and kept singing while we all walked to class.
This year after finals, there were only about four of my friends who could hang out with me, and we actually DID sing La Vie Boheme. It was awesome.

oh my gosh! Me and some friends last year sang this randomly at recess! we were at the bleachers by ourselfs with a CD player (it was for another class) and then we played our Rent CD! everyone else was on the field playing games (we are middle schoolers) and the teachers were watching us like wtf? looks on their faces! I loved the Dorothy and toto part cause we were jumping on the bleachers and dancing and singing and it was so cool because they werent close enough to hear the words, so funny!!

I love this movie!! At a youth group lock in (chruch youth group) We were listening to the soundtrack to this movie and we all busted out singing this song and dancing like in the movie in the basment of the chruch it was funny because we all took parts without telling each other and it was cool and sounded really good. The guy that was watching over the lock in just sat there and watched us.laughing and in shock. I wish i had made a video!! ^.^
