Wow Don is Realy lucky to be alive after that. honestly that 55' didnt look to be built well. having expeirence ive owned a 55' with a 327small block it was a beast i got into an accident goin about 80 wrapped it around a tree and it didnt fall apart like that. i know it flipped a couple times but still. just thank god.

well i guess thats what happens when you build a car and forget to torque your seat bolts down...that car obviously wasnt inspected before he ran it otherwise it never woulda happened..............nothing but luck kept him alive

That thing was held together with glue and tie wraps (probebly to save weight). You can tell by the way it came apart when it rolled.
Remember the black '55 Chevy in "American Graffiti", and how it rolled at the end of the movie? You didnt see parts flying off it, that '55 stayed together. That' s because that '55 was bolted correctly.
