Well, as you can see, up until the Battle of the Bulge, Hitler was a very succesful leader. Being genuinely emotional probably means that one will try harder for his country. (Not that i'm defending Hitler)
And also, don't read into more than what i wrote. Did I ever say that I solely Judge a candidate on emotion? No. If i did, I'd vote for Barack Obama right now, but i'm not.

I did a project about Nixon and I was going positive I was going to think he was one of the worst we have had because of the scandal. If you really study Nixon when he was president, he may be one of the best the United States has ever had...he just really fucked up during Watergate.

Nixon retired because of the Watergate scandal not after loosing the 1960 election to Kennedy. I doubt he would have made it to president anyway if he had run against RFK.

No I don't agree, his plan of Vietnamization was a good plan, much better than LBJ's plan of Americanization, but that was all sort of thrown out when he tried to destroy the Ho Chi Minh trail by bombing Laos and Cambodia. IMO the best presidents were probably Wilson and FDR... but that's OT. I think that Nixon was a little bit paranoid, especially with the Pentagon Papers.

no really? is that really an accomplishment? going to the moon? if that is a leading cause for being a good president then we are all screwed.
