I agree, but... the thing you got to remember is that Detroit makes cars for Americans. They make cars the way the american market likes them. England is a completely different story, narrow streets and ~$9.00 a gallon for gas makes American cars out of place. If Detroit wanted to, they could make a car Jeremy Clarkson would love. Such as the Ford RS200. Or a american 4 banger that revs to 10 billion rpms. ;)

Jeremy forgot to mention that the "Gurney Bubble" - made famous because like Jeremy Dan Gurney need a little extra room in his GT40 so they put a bubble in the door of his Lemans-Winning car (where he also started the tradition of spraying champagne over everyone)
- Recently his wife gave him a Ford GT for his birthday and she had a custom "bubble" made just for him (although I don't think he needed it in the GT)
