Yeah I don't think it is any coincidence that the Miami Heat won the championship when they aquired Shaq. Lakers are still an extremely good team but I feel something was lost when Shaq left.

No, it's not height. Dirk Novinski (sp?) is a 7 footer who shoots nearly 90% at the line. Some other tall players who were great FT shooters include Jack Sikma, Kevin McHale... well, there are some others but I can't remember who they are. What does Paul Gasol shoot from the line?

I would love to see Kobe break the Celtics' hearts. I can see it now: a hushed silence over the Boston Garden crowd, Kevin Garnett wiping tears and sweat from his eyes, and Red Auerbach rolling over in his grave as Phil Jackson surpasses him as the NBA coach with the most championships. They don't, though that could be because the league doesn't allow them to. The NBA acknowledges BAA titles but not NBL titles and may have a say regarding what banners are allowed in NBA arenas.
