That's kind of a retarded match up...Ford, Chevy, who cares, you don't match up a 1/2 ton K-Blazer with a probably stock 350 to a 1 ton truck with a DIESEL in it.
For what it's worth my 93 Blazer has 214,000 miles on the original engine and still looks and runs excellent...the same can't be said for the Bronco we had...lol

And also, if people are saying they had a Blazer and it fell apart, the S-10 Blazer and the actual Blazer are whole different animals..the S-10s aren't all that great as far as trannies and suspension, etc. compared to the full size trucks

its a diesel vs a gas motor lol it suppose to have more torque the simple fact that it got drug 10 feet before it did anything doesn make it look like a real bad ass. i wouldnt go againts a diesel unless i had 4x4 and had atleast the same amount of hp. even though if you have 300hp and so does the diesel he still has probably 120 or more ft/lbs on you.

Lets put that ford against my 96 turbo diesel suburban :) I have weight over the wheels, next to no turbo lag, and boatloads of power just off idle. I bet id rip that ford a new one, just as the blazer almost did :) The turbo on the ford and the broken CV joint on the blazer (see the info on the video) is the only thing that saved the ford. That kind of surprised me, i would have expected the ford to do better. Shocked me when the blazer yanked him.

You could only wish. My truck weighs more has better gearing and is positrac. With my lil diesel id rip you a new one. Most diesels have too low of a gear which makes them way too easy to break the tires loose and gets them out of their power range too fast. With my 3.42 gears i stay in power range and its not as easy to spin the tires. Add the weight of my truck and positrac and youd be owned. :)

the ford has a lower running gear but has more tourque also the ford was higher up so his rear end could flex more.the old f350s had ither 1.5 tonn or 2 tonn running gear most of the blazers had 3 tonn

The real crappy trucks are chevys. Underpowered, horrible turning radius, ugly as sin, dominated by plasitc, stupid day/headlights are always out, overpriced, no bedliner, transmission breaks all the time, no longevity, tailpipes rust in a week, the duramax doesnt hold up, weak frame, the inner workings fail all the time, the list goes on and on. Chevy = cheap junk. GM in genral just makes cheap crap. There really isnt anything u can say thats good about chevy.
