Yeah this was before I replaced all the bushings on the spider gears. It tightened right up.

As I said before, this was taken prior to replacing the spider gear bushings. I did not replace the pinion bushings or put in a crush sleeve. It tightened up after installing the bushings to the point where I did not feel it needed the pinion bushings, YMMV.

Well this is specific to the MGB which doesn't have LSD or anything, would probably be different for your 8.8 (Ford?)
